I am an experienced counsellor who has a wealth of knowledge in counselling those who have experienced bereavement or are at end of life stage.

Life has its challenges and I understand that at times it can be overwhelming making it difficult to see things clearly, counselling offers a safe space to explore these thoughts and feelings giving you the opportunity for growth and change

I am experienced in seeing clients with many different issues including depression and anxiety, work issues, anger and abuse.

Men have always been reluctant to ask for help or to make use of counselling services and I hope to help change that.

It's ok for men to find life difficult,

to ask for help, and to be listened too in a confidential safe space without fear of being judged

I offer a warm friendly welcome in a relaxed, safe, non-judgemental space where you can talk confidently.

As we build our therapeutic

relationship and you feel comfortable, we can work together through your feelings, emotions and experiences.

Through a greater understanding of yourself, your life and

relationships you will become more aware of your own

strengths and skill

I am experienced at counselling clients who are feeling lost or “stuck”, struggling with unresolved past events, experiencing difficulties in their relationships and holding negative beliefs about themselves.

Counselling can help in ways you wouldn’t imagine and I have often found that as trust in the therapeutic relationship grows, you can find yourself releasing things you hadn’t even realised you were carrying with you.

Whether your feelings are connected to a recent loss, breakdown in a relationship, anxiety related to work/studies, trauma, abuse or addiction – psychotherapy has the potential to help you.

As a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist, I provide a safe space where you can explore your feelings, memories and experiences, understanding the unconscious defences you’ve used to protect yourself in your everyday life.

Our rooms are large, comfortable and furnished to a high standard, we don't believe counselling rooms should be small and sparsely furnished, we want your time with us to be welcoming and relaxed, we want you to feel at home.

All of the counsellors that work from our rooms are fully trained and comply with all relevant legislation, we make sure that they are members of a recognised professional body, and we check their insurance.

The counsellors at Lincoln Counselling Centre regularly keep their skills up to date by attending training sessions with many different organisations that enhance their knowledge and experience.

To book an appointment or to find out more about a counsellor and their fees please take a look at the counsellors page which has details of the counsellors who currently work from Lincoln Counselling Centre together with their contact details.
